Description:Description:Reduce Overhead with the one card that saves your business money! No annual fee, no hidden charges, no interest payments…what on earth could it be? You may be surprised to learn how much money a library card can save you each year. Join us at Spruce Grove Public Library for a hot breakfast and cool conversation about how emerging entrepreneurs and established corporations alike can benefit from the FREE programs, services, and resources that a library card provides. The presentation will focus on cost reductions to three areas of significant expense each business owner faces: Staff & HR (Hiring and Training); Space (Startup and Meeting); and Service and Product (Development and Marketing). As the saying sort of goes…there are lots of things money can buy, but for everything else there’s a library card.

Leanne Myggland-Carter is the Marketing & Fund Development Manager at the Spruce Grove Public Library where she has worked for more than 11 years. An Oxford-educated scholar, she not only specializes in the business side of not-for-profits, but is also a published author and poet who writes, instructs, and speaks about the importance of mental health awareness in the home and in the workplace. Leanne has called Spruce Grove home for 16 years and proudly participates in the community with her husband and their three children.

Our Business at Breakfast Series aims to provide the tools and education necessary to succeed in entrepreneurship, economic growth, and competitiveness; this weekly event focuses on business education in our tri-municipal region.

The networking opportunities that come with it are casual yet very powerful.
